C. K. Punk: Another awesome episode of Nitro. Superior production to the WWF Raw episode. Good mix of story/drama along with matches. Story line is multidimensional and more going on than what RAW has,

Thoughts:

  • Eric Bischoff was playing a jerk boss this episode, and seems pretty reminiscent of how Vince McMahon will end up being on Raw. Very similar angle.
  • More example how the 90’s were awesome and we were fine with being politically correct. Commentators comment: “That’s why you should keep them in the kitchen”, if reference to Debra Marshall.
  • Rick flair I still find to be super annoying.
  • WCW has a lot of championship matches, especially when compare to RAW. Also, WCW has some pretty short matches. I suppose this makes it a bit more realistic.
